These tips come from my own run of Crazy Pizza, where I made 5 matches and finished at $150 without reaching game over. Crazy Pizza is not a cooking game. You sort ready-made pizzas between glass columns and clear them in sets of three, and everything below is what I saw while doing that.

  1. Press, hold for a moment, then drag slowly to the target column. About half of my quick or straight-line drags were ignored, while slow, deliberate drags worked every time.
  2. You can only grab the bottom pizza of a column, and it lands at the bottom of the stack you drop it on. Plan around the pizza that is currently lowest.
  3. Drop the pizza near or just below the bottom of the target stack. One drop I made high up on an empty column failed and the pizza did not move.
  4. Stack two of the same kind first, then bring the third. Three matching pizzas in one column clear and pay out.
  5. Every match paid exactly $30 in my run, taking me from $0 to $30, $60, $90, $120, and $150. I saw no bonus for combos.
  6. New pizzas keep arriving at the top and push the stacks down, and they seemed to come faster as time went on. Grab the right pizza before the column shifts, since I missed twice when a spot moved under my cursor.
  7. Do not let one column fill with mixed types. My middle column built up 5 different pizzas and became much harder to sort as it grew.

Slow drags, two of a kind first, and keeping columns from filling with mixed pizzas got me to $150. Use the pause button if you need a breather, since the pizzas keep coming.

Why drags sometimes fail

The single biggest problem in my run was input, not strategy. When I moved quickly from one column to another, the game often ignored the drag. When I pressed, held briefly, and then moved slowly, the pizza followed every time.

The other trap is timing. New pizzas arrive at the top and the stack shifts, so the pizza you aimed at can move just as you grab it. Wait for the stack to settle, then make your move.

How my five matches came together

My matches in order were the green pepper and onion pizza twice, the seafood pizza with blue starfish shapes, the red chili pizza, the green pizza again, and finally the mushroom pizza. The game does not name the pizzas, so these are just how they looked to me.

Each time, the pattern was the same: find a column with one or two of a kind at the bottom, move matching pizzas onto it one at a time, and let the third one trigger the clear.
