Petalstack Beginner's Guide - How to Get Started

Petalstack is a free browser arcade game where you stack drifting petals to grow a flower tower. There is no download and it runs on phone or desktop.

What is Petalstack?

A petal moves left and right above the tower. Tap or press Space at the right moment to drop it. If it lands fully on the petal below, you keep the width and score more. Overhangs are sheared off by the wind, making the next drop narrower. Miss completely and the tower falls.

First steps

1. On the title screen, tap or press Space to start.
2. Watch the moving petal and tap when it is centered over the base.
3. Perfect stacks (very close alignment) keep the full width and give a higher score.
4. The petal speeds up as the tower grows. Stay calm and time the drop.
5. Your best score is saved in the browser.

Tips

Focus on the edges of the petal rather than the center. Small corrections early keep the tower wide longer. The game is endless, so chase a personal high score.
