Cairnfall - Frequently Asked Questions
What is Cairnfall?
A Pixelsprout original arcade game. You drop swaying river stones to build a night cairn.
How do I score?
Every stone that lands scores one. A near-centered perfect landing scores two and keeps the full width.
Why did the stone get narrower?
Only the part that overlaps the stone below stays. A sloppy drop leaves a smaller platform for the next one.
What ends a run?
A drop that overlaps the stone below by less than a handhold slips off. The end card shows, and you can start again.
Does the wind get faster?
Yes. Each landed stone speeds the next slide a little, up to a cap, so tall cairns ask for sharper timing.
Does it save my score?
Your best score stays in this browser under a local key. Clearing site data clears it. Nothing is sent to an account.
Is it free, and does it work on a phone?
Yes. Nothing to install. Tap to drop. A keyboard works too, with Space to drop and the arrow keys to nudge.
Is this a copy of another stacking game?
No. Cairnfall is an original Pixelsprout timing stack with its own gorge, stones, and scoring. It does not use another game's name, characters, or art.
