Dewdash - Frequently Asked Questions
What is Dewdash?
A Pixelsprout original arcade game. You dash a sprout along a three-lane night garden path, dodge hazards, and collect dew.
How do I score?
Distance adds points as you run. Each dew orb you collect is worth 25 extra points. The path speeds up, so later distance is worth the same per step but comes faster.
What is a rock, a root, and a branch?
A rock blocks the lane and must be avoided by switching lanes. A root is low and is cleared with a hop. A branch is high and is cleared by ducking.
Can I hop and duck together?
No. A hop starts only if you are not ducking, and a duck starts only if you are not hopping. Time the move for the hazard in front of you.
Is there a finish line?
No. Dewdash is an endless run. It ends when a hazard hits the sprout. Beat your best score on the next try.
Does it save?
Your best score stays in this browser under local storage. Clearing site data clears the score. There is no account.
Is it free, and does it work on a phone?
Yes. Nothing to install. Swipe and tap on a phone. Arrow keys, A and D, Space, and Enter work on a keyboard.
