Lumenstack - Frequently Asked Questions
Is Lumenstack free to play?
Yes. It is a Pixelsprout original that plays in your browser for free with no download.
How do you play Lumenstack?
A glowing block slides left and right near the top. Drop it onto the stack. Only the overlapping width stays; the rest is trimmed. Miss with no overlap and the stack falls.
What are the controls?
Space starts, drops, and retries from Stack fell. A mouse click on the canvas does the same. After a run started with Space, Enter also dropped. The page says tap, Space, and Enter. I did not personally test touch beyond that wording.
What happens when you miss?
You see Stack fell, your score in cyan, Best N, and Tap to retry. Space or a canvas click restarts. On my 73 run the retry text overlapped the stack drawing.
Does perfect alignment give a bonus?
The page About says Perfect alignment keeps the full width and multiplies your score. I never saw perfect-drop text, a flash, a sound, or a bonus in play, so I cannot confirm that effect from my runs.
Is there a pause or settings menu?
I did not see any in-game settings or pause. Score is top left and Best N is top right. Under the canvas the page has Fullscreen, Favorite, Share, About, How to play, and Guides.
How high can the score go?
Best started at 8 from an earlier session. I had runs of 0, 23, and 26, then a high of 73 that became Best 73. Within that run successive scores were 23, 43, 58, 67, and 73. The scoring rule was unclear.
Does the block speed up as you stack?
Across five drops in my 73 run the sliding speed stayed roughly steady and bounced left and right. I did not see a speed change in that run.
