Ninja Adventure Beginner's Guide - How to Get Started
New to Ninja Adventure? This guide covers the menus and the first minutes of Level 1 from a session where I chose Ninja Boy and never quite finished the stage.
What is Ninja Adventure?
Ninja Adventure is a free browser game on Pixelsprout, loaded through GamePix with an OK, PLAY NOW button and a load that sat near 99 percent for about 25 to 30 seconds. After the title screen with PLAY and FULL SCREEN, you pick Ninja Boy or Ninja Girl, then see a LEVEL screen with six tiles. Only tile 1 was unlocked for me; the others had padlocks. Level 1 is a 2D side-scrolling platformer where you run, jump, throw kunai, and slash with a sword while collecting coins and gems and fighting orange pumpkin-like enemies with angry faces. The background is a bright cartoon city skyline with trees, and a side ad sat beside the game without blocking play.
First steps
- Press OK, PLAY NOW on the GamePix load screen and wait through the long load near 99 percent.
- On the title screen, use PLAY. FULL SCREEN is there if you want it.
- On PLAYER SELECT, pick Ninja Boy or Ninja Girl. I chose Ninja Boy.
- On the LEVEL screen, click the unlocked tile 1, then use the green play button at the bottom.
- Run right with ArrowRight, jump grass ledges and dirt plateaus with ArrowUp, and touch coins as you go.
- When you see stacked wooden crates, hold Right and tap Up repeatedly to climb them.
- Use X for kunai and Z for the sword near the orange enemies that wait by raised ledges.
Who it's for
It suits players who like casual Mario-style run-and-jump platformers with coin collecting and simple attack buttons. The first level is bright and easy to pick up, though high ledges and crates take practice.
How the level select looked
After character select, the LEVEL screen showed six tiles in a row. Only the first tile was open. The other five had padlocks. Along the bottom sat a green play button, a list button, and a green round button that looked like a home control. I clicked level 1 and started from there.
Coins, gems, and what the page claims
Page text on the game says you collect coins and hidden gems to unlock levels. In my run the gold counter climbed as I touched coins on arcs and platforms, and I spotted one purple gem on a high ledge I never reached. The red gem counter on the HUD stayed at 0. I never saw a level-complete screen, so I cannot confirm how unlocks actually apply after a clear.
