When should I release?

Near the bottom of the swing, when the vine turns green. That window is the perfect release. Earlier releases still fly, but they drop faster.

What does a perfect catch score?

Every catch scores 10 times the current combo. A perfect release adds 15 and raises the combo. A messy catch sets the combo back to one.

What is the wind label?

After a few hooks the orchard wind changes. It shoves the arc and the flight. Wait for the green vine again instead of reusing the last beat.

Why did the run end?

The moth missed the next lantern, flew off the side, or fell to the ground. There is no health bar. One miss ends the run.

Where is the best score stored?

In local storage on this browser, under a Galehook key. Clearing site data resets it. It is not an account score.

Does Galehook need a download?

No. It is a Pixelsprout original and runs in the browser on desktop and a phone. Tap or Space is enough.

Is this a copy of another swing game?

No. Galehook is an original night-orchard timing game. The moth, lantern posts, wind, and scoring are built for Pixelsprout.
