Riverstone - How to Play

What you are doing

You drop stones into a six-column night basin. Matching stones fuse. The basin fills from the bottom. Keep the danger line clear.

A turn

The stone in your hand is shown at the top right. Choose a column. The stone falls until it lands. If two or more of the same stone touch by an edge, they fuse into the next form and the score jumps. Gravity pulls anything above into the gap, which can start another chain.

Forms

Pebble, cobble, riverstone, boulder, then moonstone. You only fuse stones of the same form. A moonstone splashes out, scores a bonus, and leaves an empty cell.

The danger line

A dashed line sits near the top of the basin. If a settled stone is still in the top row after fuses finish, the run ends. Your best score stays in this browser.
