Riverstone - Frequently Asked Questions
What is Riverstone?
A Pixelsprout original puzzle. You drop stones into a night basin and fuse matching pairs into larger stones.
How do I score?
A fuse scores from the stone form and the size of the group. A chain, where one fuse makes another, multiplies that score. A moonstone splash adds a flat bonus.
What is a moonstone?
The last form. It does not sit in the basin. It splashes out, scores, and clears its cell so stones above can fall.
Why did the run end?
A stone settled in the top row after fuses finished. That is the danger line. Leave a path so big fuses can clear space.
Can I choose the next stone?
No. The next stone is shown before you drop. Most drops are pebbles. Cobbles and the rare riverstone are luck.
Does it save?
Your best score stays in this browser. Clearing the site data clears the score. There is no account.
Is it free, and does it work on a phone?
Yes. Nothing to install. Tap a column to play. It also works with a keyboard.
Is this a copy of another merge game?
No. Riverstone is a Pixelsprout original. The stones, basin, and moonstone splash are its own rules.
