What is Dot Link Puzzle - Connect the Dots?
Dot Link Puzzle, also listed as Connect the Dots, is a connection puzzle on a square grid. Each board shows pairs of colored dots, and your job is to join every pair with a line of its own color without crossing another line. The page describes it as connecting matching dots without crossing paths. In the levels I played, every square also had to be covered, and the board showed Moves, Lines and Fill counters that reached Fill 100% when a level was solved.
First steps
- Wait for the loader to reach the Ok, Play Now button, click it, and the level menu opens.
- Pick the Basic mode and the Beginner bundle, which uses 5 by 5 boards, and open level 1.
- Drag from one colored dot to its matching dot, moving through neighboring squares only.
- Check the Fill counter after each line. When all lines are drawn and Fill reads 100%, the LEVEL COMPLETE popup appears.
- Tap NEXT LEVEL, and once the 5 by 5 boards feel easy, try the Easy Peasy bundle with 6 by 6 boards.
Who it's for
It suits anyone who likes quiet logic puzzles and does not want a timer or lives. It is easy to pick up for a few minutes, and the larger grids give more experienced puzzle fans something to chew on.
