Getting Over It
Play nowAdvertisement
The whole game is played with the mouse. The hammer head follows your cursor around the cat, and every move you make comes from where you plant it and which way you pull. This version is a fan-made Scratch remake by griffpatch, not the original game by Bennett Foddy.
Desktop controls
Move the mouse to swing the hammer around the cat. Press the hammer head against a block and pull the cursor the opposite way to push the pot up or along. No clicking is needed once a run starts. In an earlier session, arrow keys and WASD did nothing.
Touch play
This version has no on-screen Mobile Controls toggle. Touch controls were not tested, so how it plays on a touch screen is unconfirmed.
Tips
- On the start screen, choose New Game to begin. Sound Effects and Commentary can be switched from the same menu.
- Small, steady mouse movements give the most control. Fast flicks tend to tip the pot over.
- The timer in the top right starts when the run starts, so you can watch the menu for as long as you like first.
- Use the full screen button in the top right corner for more room to move the mouse.
