Getting Over It

Getting Over It on Pixelsprout is a climbing game where an orange cat in a flower pot drags itself up a pile of giant Scratch code blocks with a long hammer. This is a fan-made Scratch remake, not the original game. These tips cover the opening stretch of low when clicked blocks.
- Use slow, wide sweeps of the mouse.
- Hook the hammer head over the top edge of a block before you pull. The pot only moves when the hammer head is pressing against something, so find an edge first.
- Ease off the mouse when the pot lands somewhere flat. The cat keeps some momentum after you stop, so give it a moment to settle before the next move.
- Watch the timer in the top right corner. It runs the whole time, so it is a fair way to measure whether a new approach is actually faster.
- To lift the cat, rest the hammer head on the block under the pot and move the mouse down. In testing, that downward push raised the pot, so treat the hammer like a pole you press into the ground.
Treat each block as its own small puzzle. Hook an edge, pull a short distance, settle, then plan the next move.
What you can see ahead
From the low pile, the tall upright when clicked block is visible ahead. Behind it you can see a green block with a plus sign and the edge of a purple block, and a yellow note box reading Getting Over It, Scratch Edition by Griffpatch hangs above that area.
